RESOLANT PERSPECTIVE / AI STRATEGY

Your first AI project should answer a business question.

A useful starting point is a recurring problem, a baseline and an accountable owner.

Start with the work

Choose one workflow that causes repeated effort, delays, errors or missed opportunities. Ask the people doing that work to show the current process. Which steps require judgment? Which steps simply move information?

Compare the available options

AI is one possible approach. Existing-software configuration, integration or conventional automation may solve the problem more simply. Compare the full cost of each option, including subscriptions, usage, maintenance and review effort.

Make a pilot decision testable

Define the users, information sources, permissions and acceptance criteria. Capture the current handling time, quality or completion rate. Test against realistic examples and record where the system needs human help.

Plan for ownership

Before expanding the solution, identify who owns errors, changes, operating costs and user support. A useful pilot produces a clearer decision about the next investment.
